Season 1

Season 1 is the first scored season of Maegen Online. It starts inside the alpha, and this page is where its dates will appear.

What a season is

A season is a fixed stretch of time with a ladder that resets at the end of it. Your PvP score, your clan’s score and what your clan holds are all counted inside the season, and when it closes the standing is kept as a record and the board starts again.

That reset is the point. It means a late start is never a permanent disadvantage, and it means the top of the board is a claim about right now rather than about who played first.

What is settled

• One ladder per server, split by nation, with named tiers from Rookie up to Legend.
• Clan score counted separately from player score, on the clans board.
• The board is a snapshot refreshed every few minutes, always stamped with its time.

What is not settled

How long the season runs, what the rewards are, and the exact date it opens. Those three are decided from what the alpha measures, not before it, and they will be published here and on the roadmap on the same day.

There is nothing to sign up for. If you have an account and you are in an alpha wave, you are in Season 1 from your first fight.
